Introduction of Walson Lee:
Walson Lee retired from Microsoft late last year after a 29-year tenure. He worked on numerous large-scale enterprise customer projects as a solution architect within Microsoft Consulting Services division. Additionally, while he was at Microsoft Enterprise IT Group, he led efforts to migrate Microsoft’s on-premises data centers to the Azure cloud and spearheading major digital transformation initiatives.
In the years leading up to his retirement, he primarily focused on complex AI projects for well-known enterprise customers in the healthcare, retail, and energy industries. His last couple of projects were AI initiatives based on generative AI and additional machine learning models. He published several internal technical articles on AI, and received an award for a companywide hackathon competition in 2023.
Since retiring, he has been continuing his research on architectural patterns for building generative AI-based enterprise solutions. As of now, he has published four articles on AI-related topics, including knowledge-centric design, AI ethics - guiding principles for enterprise, and AI ethics - architectural and design recommendations.
