National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) actively responds to the national demand for sustainable developments by dedicating efforts to innovation and talent cultivation in the semiconductor field. The university has established the Hwa Hsia Campus as a base for teaching and research, where relevant semiconductor production line equipment is being installed, and industry collaborations are being conducted.
With continuous investments and enhancement of educational and research resources, NTUST has newly established the "Graduate Institute of Advanced Semiconductor Technology" within the Industry-Academia Innovation College. This institute focuses on research, industry collaboration, and talent cultivation in areas such as "silicon photonics technology," "integrated circuit design and electronic-design automation," "advanced manufacturing processes and packaging technology," and "compound semiconductor materials," contributing to the developments of national strategic industries.
